This is an ATELIER fine art piece. The ATELIER is the private workshop or studio of a professional artist. In this space, Emily is able to push the bounds of her creativity and explore bigger concepts and new techniques. Here every piece is one-of-a-kind or limited edition, experimental and exploratory.
These bud vases were designed to showcase cherished blooms. Approx. 3.5 x 2.5".
These pieces were raku fired, an exciting, outdoor firing method where the pots are removed from the kiln while still extremely hot and carefully placed into a bucket with combustibles, cooled and scrubbed! They are glazed on the inside and outside, but are not considered watertight. They are best for use with dried flowers or as a decorative piece. They are truly all one-of-a-kind and are unable to be exactly duplicated!
Conscious care instructions: due to fragile elements, gently wash with a barely damp cloth for longevity. Normal scrubbing may result in the glaze flaking off. Slight changes in colors over time are expected with this style.
Due to the handmade nature of this product, slight inclusions as well as variations in color are expected. Each piece is truly unique, a part of the charm of handmade ceramics!
