ATELIER whale pod carved bud vases

This is an ATELIER fine art piece. The ATELIER is the private workshop or studio of a professional artist. In this space, Emily is able to push the bounds of her creativity and explore bigger concepts and new techniques. Here every piece is one-of-a-kind or limited edition, experimental and exploratory.

Made of translucent porcelain, these special bud vases are individually hand carved with a playful pod of orcas. This effect is created by skillfully carving through layers of white and black porcelain. Because this design is extremely time intensive and elusive to get right, it is available in very limited quantities.

• Care instructions: Gentle hand washing recommended for longevity.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight inclusions, variations in color, size, shape and carving patterns are expected. Please note: carving and seam lines, inclusions and imperfect edges are a part of this design.
